Uniphiz provides curve fitting software
Uniphiz Lab announces the release of FindGraph v.1.80, a software to provide its users with 200 common graphing functions. These include Polar, Cartesian, and Parametric equations, as well as built-in Wizards. FindGraph helps user to create linear and non-linear curve fitting models either for interpolation or for simulation and analyzing graphed data. Once users have finished, FindGraph routes the results to the Fitting Log, so that they can print them on paper or save as an HTML page.

Apart from creating curves, FindGraph also provides tools for importing any graph or data from any source (Web or PDF document, for example), so that users could modify them by adding their comments and the desirable points. While making the modifications, users can also apply image effects, such as sharpen, blur or contrast.

FindGraph v.1.80 runs under Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista. Free technical support is provided to all registered users. Additional information on FindGraph, and its free fully-functional 30-day trial version is available from http://www.uniphiz.com/findgraph.htm.

10-Strike Software releases SearchMyDiscs 3.3

10-Strike Software releases SearchMyDiscs 3.3. It is a software application that helps users with large CD and DVD collections find the disk containing a needed file, photograph, music track or movie clip.

User can insert every CD or DVD to be indexed into a PC. The program automatically scans the disk and catalogues its contents. At the same time, the program stores the file structure of the disk, as well as thumbnail images and EXIF tags for photographs, ID3 tags for MP3 tracks and file properties (avi, exe, jpg, gif, png, tiff, psd, tga, raw and other file types).

SearchMyDiscs also offers several other features. For instance, it organizes CDs and DVDs into special groups (music, photo, video and software, among others), and one disk can belong to several groups. In addition, the “Borrowed Disk” feature distinguishes between the disks that checked out of your library and disks currently on the shelves.

SearchMyDiscs 3.3 contains bug fixes, supports scanning RAW digital photographs and supports Portuguese interface language. SearchMyDiscs 3.3 is available at http://www.searchmydiscs.com/ for free download.  The cost of registering the program is US29.95.
