E-Business

New release of SPAMfighter available
SPAMfighter ApS announced the release of version 3.0 of SPAMfighter Exchange Module, an experience-based spam filter.

SPAMfighter Exchange Module builds on the experience of its subscriber base. Users report spam to the company, which logs them to a master list. When enough SPAMfighter users report the same spam e-mail, it is removed from all SPAMfighter Exchange Module user inboxes.

The product is fully integrated with Microsoft Exchange Server, so there is no need for client-side software. As each e-mail arrives, SPAMfighter Exchange Module makes a unique, encrypted signature for each message and sends it to the SPAMfighter Server for evaluation. If the SPAMfighter Server determines that a message is spam, it notifies SPAMfighter Exchange Module and the spam mail is moved to the users’ spam folder.

SPAMfighter Exchange Module requires Microsoft Windows Server 2000 or newer, Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 or newer and .NET Framework 1.1. SPAMfighter Exchange Module licenses begin at US$125 for a one-year, five-user licence. Multi-user licenses and VIRUSfighter bundling are available. A 30 day trial version is also available.
