SuperPages, publisher of Telus directories, and SplashDot, a provider of incentive relationship marketing solutions, have partnered to offer a new cobranded contest directory now accessible on SuperPages.ca.
With this agreement, SplashDot
will develop, host and market the cobranded directory while SuperPages.ca will promote and drive traffic to this new sweepstakes and contest section.
SplashDot provides contest/ sweepstakes, loyalty and permission marketing solutions that help attract and engage prospective customers so as to ultimately convert them to loyal, long-term clients. Using its proprietary nCentiveTM online software suite, SplashDot says it has been able to derive immediate bottom-line results for clients ranging from government lotteries to Fortune 500 companies. Headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, SplashDot also possesses an office in Montreal, Quebec that services its Eastern North American clients.
Environics Communications said it has been retained by Spotnik Mobile as its PR agency of record. Spotnik offers secure high-speed public wireless Internet service (Wi-Fi) in Canada. Environics also represents Xerox Canada, among other clients. Steve Acken and Elisabeth Napolano will be managing the account.
Siebel Systems said it was partnering with Accenture, Microsoft Corp., and Proscape Technologies to deliver pharmaceutical marketing capabilities that will allow sales representatives to provide better-targeted information during physician sales calls.
The technology is designed to deliver tailored information to physicians using a Microsoft Tablet PC and Proscape Technologies’ software. As physicians use the Microsoft Tablet PC to indicate the information they are interested in getting from the pharmaceutical representative, the Proscape software records the physicians’ interests and preferences. Physicians also are able to provide specific feedback via the Proscape software. Siebel Pharma analyzes the data and pharmaceutical companies can then use the resulting information to design more effective marketing campaigns. As the implementation partner, Accenture provides deep industry knowledge, technology expertise, and program management to successfully design and deliver this new approach.
Siebel said the closed-loop marketing solution will also enable physicians to make more informed purchasing decisions by offering customized product information, evidence gathered through clinical research, and comparative analyses of medicines.
Business decision-maker Crystal Decisions said it formed an alliance with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young (CGE&Y) to co-market joint solutions to customers.
The two firms said the alliance will help expose a broader range of organizations to the power of Crystal Decisions’ enterprise reporting solutions. Together, Crystal Decisions and CGE&Y are rolling out the BI Index to customers globally. The BI Index is a jointly developed solution that shows organizations where they stand in terms of their BI readiness and integration. Customers are taken through a six-step process to help them define, predict and measure the value of a proposed BI initiative. Additionally, they learn how to effectively leverage analytical, reporting and predictive capabilities across their organizations and monitor their return on investment through a built-in ROI calculator, the firms said.
