Tethys Solutions’ Automation Anywhere 3.0 automates business and IT processes
Tethys Solutions LLC has released Automation Anywhere 3.0, a Windows automation application for business and IT tasks. The software can be set up with no programming knowledge required and works by recording keyboard and mouse actions, or by creating automation scripts using wizards.

Features added in version 3.0 include a redesigned user interface, a Web recorder that improves Web automation reliability, an auto-response capability that allows users to trigger tasks in response to events and Internet automation templates that allow Web data extraction.

Business users and non-technical workers can use Automation Anywhere’s task recording features to record actions, without having to write programming scripts. These recorded steps can then be converted into interactive steps, allowing users to create programs that automate business processes.

Power users and professional programmers can use Automation Anywhere to automate IT tasks. Automation Anywhere can serve as an automation platform to run, integrate, schedule and manage other scripts such as VBScripts and JScripts.

In addition to all of these functions in the product’s Standard licence, the Premiere licence allows you to turn tasks into executable EXE files that can be run on any Windows PC. Users can generate EXEs to manage and configure software and alter software behaviour.

Prices begin at US$129.95 and users will need a PC running Windows NT4/2000/XP/2003. An evaluation copy is also available.
