Hands on with Samsung Galaxy S5 and Gear Fit

Samsung Electronics Co. is preparing to release its next phone in the popular Galaxy lineup in Canada on April 11.

The Galaxy S5 will also be accompanied by a new smartwatch from Samsung, following close on the heels of its first generation Galaxy Gear product released last year. The Gear Fit presents a more elongated, curved screen as opposed to the rectangular block on the Galaxy Gear. It can monitor heart rate and step count, making it an ideal exercising aid, as Jeff Jedras of Computer Dealer News shows us in this video.

We also get the scoop on the new Galaxy S5 and its new features, including a larger AMOLED display with sharper resolution, 16 megapixel camera, and fingerprint scanner. Hit play on the video above to see the new design and hear about its features.
