    Last week, we had a chance to tour the Retail Collective, a set of startups and technologies for retailers looking to lure consumers back to physical stores, instead of losing sales to e-commerce and online shopping. The Retail Collective was housed at Dx3, a marketing conference in Toronto.

    Candice So of spoke to Antoine Azar, co-founder of Thirdshelf, a Montreal, Que.-startup. He explained how physical brick and mortar stores can start harnessing consumers’ smartphones to create a better shopping experience.
