Insight Synergy 2020 Conference unites Canadian technology providers under a spirit of ‘together’

Annual partner event and digital transformation expo celebrate collaborative solutions to address increasingly complex IT environments

TEMPE, Ariz., November 15, 2019 — Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ:NSIT), the global provider of Insight Intelligent Technology Solutions™ for organizations of all sizes, welcomed more than 200 IT industry experts from Canada’s leading solution providers to its Synergy 2020 partner conference at the Liberty Grand in Toronto on Thursday.

The annual event provides strategic company updates and discussions on how technology trends are impacting the managed service provider industry. This year’s event also updated partners on how Insight is integrating PCM, Inc. into its Canadian and global operations following the company’s August acquisition, which increased Insight’s geographic footprint in Canada to six cities and added 700 Canadian teammates.

This year’s Synergy theme was “Together,” emphasizing the combined power of the world’s largest technology brands with Insight’s end-to-end approach to driving digital transformation. Insight works with a global network of more than 3,500 partners to envision, build, deploy and maintain IT solutions at scale.

“Today’s IT challenges are more complex than ever, and it takes the spirit of togetherness from our partners to provide businesses of all sizes with the most value for their technology investments,” said John Dathan, senior vice president and general manager of Insight Canada. “Those connections mean everything to Insight because they translate into powerful combinations of intelligent technology solutions that lead to greater innovation, more empowered and productive workforces, smarter data workload management, and simpler ways to procure and update IT assets.”

As a prelude to Synergy 2020, Insight also hosted a Together 2019 IT industry expo Wednesday at the Liberty Grand that united 300 technology decision makers from organizations of all sizes with experts from 25 of the world’s leading solution providers. The expo addressed how companies can adapt to rapid changes in technology and leverage modern solutions like artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, advanced analytics, collaboration tools and the cloud to produce meaningful business outcomes. Keynote speaker Jon Montgomery, an Olympic gold medalist and host of Amazing Race Canada, also discussed the value of leadership and teamwork.

Synergy 2020 celebrated the exceptional teamwork of Insight and its partners throughout the year, as Insight announced 2019 Insight Synergy Award winners across 16 categories during a formal ceremony Thursday evening to conclude the event.
