Canadian tennis star Bianca Andreescu joins Insight for Digital Transformation webinar

The reigning U.S. Open champion and tech experts from Insight, Dell Technologies and VMware will discuss transformation strategies to stay ahead of the game

TEMPE, Ariz., August 21, 2020 Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ:NSIT), the global integrator of Insight Intelligent Technology Solutions™ for organizations of all sizes, is serving up a strategic webinar on “Enhancing Your Digital Transformation Game Plan” Wednesday at 2 p.m. EST. During the event, also sponsored by Dell Technologies and VMware, Canadian tennis star Bianca Andreescu will share her own transformational career changes that have turned her into one of the world’s top 10 players.

John Dathan, Insight Canada senior vice president and general manager also will host a panel discussion focusing on digital transformation strategy adjustments for the new IT landscape. Dathan will be joined by Paul Katigbak, senior vice president, commercial business, Dell Technologies, Canada; Tareq Albadri, senior sales manager, Insight Canada; and John Scott, national sales director of end-user computing and mobility, VMware. The panel will deliberate on how to simplify procurement and IT asset management while empowering employees with tools that fuel productivity as they work from anywhere.

Andreescu, the 2019 U.S. Open champion, will speak on how she reshaped her game to go from not qualifying for a Women’s Tennis Association match for over a year to becoming Canada’s first Grand Slam singles winner. The Mississauga native took the world by storm during an historic 2019 season that started with her ranked well outside of the Top 100. The season ended with a No. 5 world ranking, as she captured three WTA titles along the way. Currently ranked No. 6, her career-high No. 4 ranking in October 2019 made her the highest-ranked Canadian player in WTA history.

“I am looking forward to sharing my own personal strategies and story about how I reshaped my mindset to reach peak performance and hope to help inspire others to succeed in their own personal career,” said Andreescu.

Much like Andreescu’s transformation to greatness, organizations today are seeking ways to emerge in a stronger position post-pandemic. They continue to rapidly transition to a more flexible business model and a hybrid virtual workplace where end-user experience, device deployment and security remain top of mind.

“Currently, every organization is considering how to become more digitized and automated. These trends already were underway before this year, but now they’ve escalated to the point that every business needs to think like a technology company,” said Dathan. “The cloud, edge-based technologies, digital commerce platforms and collaboration tools, among other solutions, present unlimited ways to make our workplaces smarter, more agile and even safer, and now is the time to reset game plans and get back into the swing of competition.”
