New BlackBerry 10 images and video surface online

The product won’t officially drop until January 30th, but new pictures of the upcoming BlackBerry z10 smartphone and BlackBerry 10 OS are now circulating online.

The images come from UK news site Rapid Berry, which told readers its developers are testing BlackBerry Dev Alpha, and found the images included in the recent OS update pushed by BlackBerry-developer Research in Motion. There’s also a brief video highlighting BBM video with screen share.

Two different colours of handset are shown, and also visible clearly at the top are the buttons to toggle between personal and work mode. This firewall is one of the promising new features of BB10, helping users to separate their business and personal data and apps, with an eye to addressing the needs of a bring your own device world.
