Every Follow Friday, we round up a list of people with active Twitter accounts, ones that we feel are worth a click on the ‘follow’ button.

This week, we’re focusing on people who know their products and market them well. Here’s a quick round-up of three Twitter users, coming from Shopify’s e-commerce platform, Alex and Ani’s digital marketing agency, and Tiny Hearts’ app studio.

Adam McNamara, vice-president of product at Shopify
As vice-president of product, McNamara helps Shopify customers troubleshoot any problems they might have with its services. He also tweets about entrepreneurship and startups, alongside a healthy dose of Simpsons cartoons. Check out our story on Shopify’s launch of its point-of-sale system here.

Ryan Bonifacino, vice-president of digital strategy at Alex and Ani
Even for larger companies, connecting with customers has to be the key – and that’s something that Bonifacino talks about and tweets about on his Twitter feed. Personalization is a huge part of Alex and Ani’s products – jewellery and charm bracelets – and that also applies to how the company markets itself to its customers.

Robleh Jama, founder of Tiny Hearts

As the founder of an independent mobile apps development studio, Jama tweets on a few things of interest – startups, entrepreneurship, and how to create great mobile apps that people actually want. In the notoriously fickle consumer market, it’s hard to stand out over the competition. But as Jama said in a recent interview on ITBusiness.ca, half of his efforts are on marketing the apps his studio has created.
