Digital Transformation program attracts new champions

Two of the most prominent companies helping Canadian firms prepare for digital futures have signed on as sponsors of ITWC’s Digital Transformation Conference and Awards initiative.

CA and Cisco have agreed to be front and centre in the effort to search out and showcase examples of digital transformation excellence – as well as sharing the best practices that will allow companies to move forward on their own digital transformation journeys.

“We are delighted to have these companies that are synonymous with digital transformation as part of the coalition supporting the push for Canadian companies to embrace digital transformation as a way to drive business forward,” said Fawn Annan, President of ITWC, and creator of the conference and the awards program.

“Their involvement will help uncover examples of disruptive companies quietly working away across the country that will demonstrate digital transformation is more than a coy catchphrase. It’s a way of doing business.”

As part of its commitment, CA will be co-presenting the results of the CanadianCIO Census at the June 14 conference in Toronto. Three other organizations also joined the coalition this week. The Canadian Information Processing Society  (CIPS), the Society of Information Management (SIM) – Toronto Chapter and The DeGroote School of Business at McMaster, home to the world’s first Executive MBA in Digital Transformation, all agreed to support the initiative. Additionally, CIPS CEO Bashir Fancy has agreed to be an event ambassador.

Nominations for the awards are open until April 17. Winners will be showcased at the award ceremony will be featured in ITWC publications.
