Yellow Pages to help accelerate SMBs’ digital transformation with MyTime

It’s about to become a lot easier for Canadian small- and medium-sized business (SMB) owners to implement online booking and payment support.

Montreal, Quebec-based Yellow Pages Group announced Tuesday that it has secured an exclusive licensing agreement to resell the MyTime commerce platform in Canada.

Founded in 2011 and based in San Francisco, MyTime is a cloud-based all-in-one commerce platform that provides services including online booking, automated marketing, point of sale (POS), and analytics to more than 14,000 SMBs.

In a July 5 statement Yellow Pages senior vice president and chief digital officer Pascal Thomas said the offering would allow Canadian SMBs to meet modern consumer expectations for a seamless multi-platform experience.

“Through integrating the MyTime solution into our offering, Yellow Pages will help answer critical business needs for SMEs such as customer interaction, online appointment scheduling and payment,” Thomas said. “Moreover, these services will become instantly accessible and affordable to SMEs across Canada.”

MyTime’s services include online booking and payment capabilities that can be integrated directly into a businesses’ website, Google search results, social media pages such as Facebook and Instagram, and Yellow Pages’ own search network. An integrated messaging component also allows SMBs to communicate with customers through online chat or SMS.

Yellow Pages will begin offering MyTime solution on a regional basis for the time being, and expects to make it available across Canada by 2018. Supported regions were not specified.
