Telus announced this week the doubling of its wireless network speed to 42 mbps. That’s good enough for a 4G network classificaition, the carrier says.

It wasn’t so long ago that Telus launched its HSPA network across Canada and espoused the benefits to businesses of its 21 mbps speeds. In this Network World video by Howard Solomon from December 2009, Jim Senko, vice-president of mobility solutions at Telus Corp. spoke about the new (at the time) network.
