Take our State of the SMB 2013 Survey for a chance to win

What aspects of IT security stress you out the most? What are the most important factors you consider when approaching cloud computer? What’s the biggest challenge you face with technology at your small to mid-sized business?

These are some of the questions we put to you in our State of the SMB 2013 Survey. This annual research report we is an important editorial objective for us. The results of the survey help us identify the IT priorities, challenges, and plans of Canada’s small to mid-sized firms. This will be our third State of the SMB Survey and we’re proud to say our research is independent and objective. We’ve formulated these survey questions based on our own experience covering Canada’s SMBs and with the valued input of our editorial advisory board members.

This year, we’re excited to offer a chance to win a ticket to Moses Znaimer’s ideacity conference happening on June 19, 20, and 21 in Toronto. The tickets are valued at $4,000 per seat for this special opportunity to attend Canada’s premiere meeting of the minds. You’ll also be offered a free copy of the original research report when it is completed as a thank you for completing the survey.

We last conducted this research exercise in Fall of 2011. At that time, we learned that Windows 7 had been well-adopted by Canada’s SMBs, but that Windows 8 was not even on the radar. Forty-five per cent of Canadian SMBs used cloud computing and almost no one was looking to part with their laptop or desktop computers any time soon. We can’t wait to see what the current survey will tell us about technology trends in Canada’s SMB community.
