SMB softphone for Android and iOS users

Primus Business Services has launched its Primus Softphone for Apple iPhone and Google Android. The standards-based softphone will enable enterprises to securely extend VoIP calling and PBX features to Android and iPhone users, including employee-owned mobile phones and tablets.

Primus Softphone allows the company’s Hosted PBX (HPBX) customers to recreate the “in-office” experience and make and receive voice calls from their computers or mobile devices via a Wi-Fi or 3G/4G mobile data connection.

Primus Softphone integrates with Hosted PBX, so users can modify HPBX features like Call Forwarding from their mobile softphones. They can also access other features they could from their office phones, such as four-digit extension calling, company voicemail, call transfers and audio conferencing, and moving calls between their desktop and mobile softphones.
