Live coverage: chat with Pebble founder Eric Migicovsky

Eric Migicovsky is the creator of Pebble, an e-paper watch that wirelessly connects with your smartphone to serve all sorts of useful functions. As if that isn’t cool enough, Pebble is also the most successful project ever to be posted to Kickstarter.

The Web site offers a “crowd funding” service to entrepreneurs, collecting pledges from people interested in the business in exchange for first crack at the product and often a little bit of creative control. Pebble set a goal to raise $100,000, but ended up with more than $10 million when funding closed May 10. Now Migicovsky, a University of Waterloo graduate, is sharing his experience with Startup Grind Toronto and ITBusiness.ca.

The Pebble founder will be chatting with a small audience in Toronto via Skype on Wednesday, May 30 from 7 PM to 8 PM ET. While the video stream won’t be posted live to the Web, ITBusiness.ca will be live blogging every detail. Startup Grind is also giving our online audience a chance to ask Eric questions and have them answered. Join in via our Cover It Live window below:
