Women in the IT Channel Mentor of the Year winner Gail Mercer-MacKay

Gail Mercer-MacKay from Mercer-MacKay Digital Storytelling won the Mentor of the Year award at the Women in the IT Channel Recognition Luncheon that was hosted on Aug. 23.

MacKay, the chief story teller of the company, is a marketing expert, and for more than a decade, has been helping channel partners connect with the customers they serve.

She said she didn’t have many mentors in the early stages of her career and felt it was very important that young women had a mentor.

MacKay also recently won the Pay it Forward Mentor award Microsoft Inspire this year.
