Tree of Life Candlelight Remembrance Ceremony 4-6 pm, Sunday, December 1, 2019

Please join us as we remember and celebrate our loved ones before the holidays begin.

Come out and listen to our guest speaker, Joel Harden, MPP, in Beechwood’s Sacred Space, 280 Beechwood Avenue.

Participants will enjoy the music of our pianists, Scott Voelzing and Barrie Marfleet, and our harpist, Keilah Morrison-Partridge, as they hang their personalized ornaments on the Tree of Life. The candlelight ceremony will offer time for personal reflection about what our loved ones mean to each of us.

This is a community event, and everyone is invited to attend. A reception and refreshments follow the ceremony. Doors open at 3 pm.

Tickets are $15 per adult, children under 16 are $5 each. Additional ornaments are $5 each. We invite everyone to register online by November 28 @ bfo-ottawa.org

We would like to thank our friends at Beechwood National Cemetery for graciously hosting this event.

About BFO Ottawa

BFO Ottawa inspires hope and healing for people in our community who are grieving. We offer weekly support and share walks and afternoons, and monthly support and share nights, with no advanced registration required. We also offer closed groups, which run over 8-10 weeks with the same group of participants, allowing them to explore their grief together more deeply. We are an organization run by volunteers, who have each experienced our own grief. Our trained facilitators have experienced similar losses. Suggested donations are appreciated.
