Ingram Micro welcome Bill Steed

Toronto, ON – October 21, 2019 – Ingram Micro Canada today announced changes to its organizational structure. Bill Steed, industry veteran and recognized sales leader, is joining Ingram Micro.

Bill is well-known in the industry, as he brings 23 years of sales leadership, including heading Canadian sales for Avnet for six years and helping lead Tech Data’s Canadian advanced solutions efforts from 2017 to 2018.

“Adding an executive of Bill’s calibre will enable us to drive new efficiencies and best practice sharing across our sales divisions, while also aligning all our business operations functions under one leader,” said Bill Brandel, Country Chief Executive, Ingram Micro Canada.

“Bill brings with him a proven track record of success in the data centre space. As such, we are consolidating our Canadian Sales Organization under Bill, whose responsibilities include leading VAR East, VAR West, VAR Central, Majors, DMR, CSP, Licensing and Business Operations.”

Bill will also oversee Ingram Micro’s customer relationships, providing the added benefit of a single voice representing their growth and profitability objectives.
