Canadian blockchain luminary Marc Lijour presents at AiDecentralized

Marc Lijour, Co-founder of ColliderX and Canadian Blockchain, will join global thought leaders in blockchain and artificial intelligence for a unique summit in Toronto May 22.

AiDecentralized, the first in a series of global summits initiated by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), seeks to connect the AI and blockchain communities to create a synergy that has critical implications for data accountability, security, and oversight.

Toufi Saliba, CEO, Toda Algorand, and an organizer of the five-star event identifies three goals for the day.

Lijour is one of the luminaries in Canada’s development of blockchain technology. He works in business development and enterprise delivery for ConsenSys, the world’s largest blockchain company.

An active Open Source user and advocate for the past two decades, he co-founded ColliderX, the first Open Source R&D Hub for blockchain and related technologies, such as AI and virtual reality. He was also instrumental in launching the Canadian Blockchain Supercluster initiative in 2017, raising $50 million in pledges in under 3 weeks.

An expert in emerging technologies, Lijour leverages blockchain to help large organizations develop and implement new solutions, policies, and programs. He will be speaking as part of the 11:25 am panel moderated by Josh Hong, co-founder of Mind.AI.

AiDecentralized opens May 22nd  at 8 am at the Fairmont Royal York. The summit will include 36 speaker and include presentations be Irakli Beridze, Head of the United Nations Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (UNICRI), Silvio Micali, ACM Turing Award recipient, Lila Tretikov, former CEO of the Wikimedia Foundation, and Neil Sahota, IBM Master Inventor and World Wide Business Development Leader in the IBM Watson Group.

A significant AIDA Alliance Announcement will be made just before lunch.
