Xtreme Labs hits download goldmine

How do you get your app downloaded more than 100 million times?

The secret lies in hitting the perfect combination of distribution and promotion, according to Amar Varma, co-founder of Xtreme Labs Inc., a mobile app developer based in Toronto.

During a presentation at the nextMEDIA Toronto 2010 conference, Varma explained how his company hit a download goldmine by developing mobile tools for companies such as Dictionary.com, Microsoft and NBA Digital.
