WebsiteSpark ignites Web development business

Many Web developers and designers have long complained that their business has become commoditized by cutthroat pricing and sheer volume of choice. Escalating software prices have not helped them improved the bottom line either.

WebsiteSpark, a new program launched by Microsoft, could aid Web developers get their business of the ground by offering free to low-cost software and technical support as well and offer them an online platform to boost business contacts. The program is similar to Microsoft’s BizSpark program launched last year, which provides software and other resources to startups, and the DreamSpark program, which does the same for students.
