Video Rewind: PayPal’s Send Money app for iPhone

Google is field testing it’s mobile wallet platform in New York and San Francisco. The service, called Google wallet, lets people with special phones pay for goods in retail shops by tapping the phones against a payment terminal.

Back in 2010, we reported on a mobile payment service unveiled by PayPal. The PayPal Send Money app for the iPhone now comes with three new features called Bump, Split Check and Collect Money that promise to make everyday “money sending” activities simpler and more secure for smartphone users.

The Send Money app also has free downloadable versions for Android and BlackBerry phones.
