It’s been a rough week in Canada and around the world for Research in Motion as BlackBerry owners groaned over a sustained service outage and backlog.
It wasn’t long ago when RIM was enjoying better times, getting attention for the BlackBerry Bold as a cutting-edge smartphone that provided fast bandwidth and great multimedia features. We look back to January 2009 when the first 3G BlackBerry Bold was launched, and described as “industry-leading.”
