Palm’s different approach to a mobile user interface means learning a couple of simple gestures to master the use of webOS.
With the release of Palm Pre 2 and webOS 2.0, and HP’s announcements of webOS-supported tablet devices, the user interface looks like it will be around for a while. So it might be worth your while to learn a couple of the advanced gestures that will save you time and unlock hidden capabilities of the device. You can also impress your (nerdy) friends by unlocking developer mode on your device.
When the first Palm Pre came out, we demonstrated how to do some of these tricks in this video. Try them on the Palm Pre 2 and you’ll see many of them still apply.
