Centennial introduces DeviceWall 4.0
Centennial Software announced the release of DeviceWall 4.0. The software is designed to help organizations manage desktop endpoints and the useage of portable storage devices such as iPods, USB sticks and PDAs on their corporate network.
The product automatically encrypts information leaving a desktop to ensure the security and integrity of data in transit. The system uses industry-standard AES and Blowfish 256-bit ciphers, together with corporate and personal keys. DeviceWall 4.0 protects data in transit and ensures that sensitive company files do not end up in the wrong hands. The product also comes with anti-tamper technology built in, expanded device class support and added management and customization features.

NewSoftwares.net introduces version of Folder Lock
NewSoftwares.net, Inc. announced the release of version 5.3.9 of Folder Lock, a security tool for the Windows OS. The product allows you to lock, hide, encrypt and password-protect files, folders and drives on your PC. Also offered is the ability to protect files on USB flash drives, memory sticks, CD-RW, floppies and notebooks. The system works in Safe Mode and DOS Mode.
Folder Lock 5.3.9 runs under Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003 Server and costs US$35 for a single-user licence. Licensed customers are entitled to free lifetime upgrades and technical support. Multi-user licences, site licence and academic licences are also available. An evaluation version is available from the company’s site.
Natural Convergence announces general availability of silhouette Release 2.0
Natural Convergence Inc. introduced silhouette Release 2.0, the latest version of its flagship product targetting telephone service providers dealing with SMBs.
Silhouette is a hosted VoIP system that replaces traditional systems for small businesses. In addition to SMBs benefitting from the significant cost savings provided by VoIP, they can also benefit from the added advantage of having no premises-based switching equipment to install or maintain. The system has a number of unique features including Attendant Console, where the receptionist can now oversee multiple lines in an organization when using the new Monitor Group feature and can also monitor lines of individual employees to see when lines are busy. The system supports basic analogue phones and also Mitel 5224 IP phone and Mitel 5220 IP phone.
