The Rolodex: Maverick signs Mobile Computing Corp.

Maverick Public Relations

Mobile Computing Corporation (MCC) has chosen the firm as agency of record for North American public relations activities.  MCC provides workforce automation solutions for Global 2000 organizations.

MCC hired Maverick in December 2004

after a competitive review. The agency will provide strategic counsel, media and analyst relations, a speakers bureau program and will also initiate a customer testimonial program.

Maverick’s first project is event managing MCC’s participation at NEXPO 2005, a conference for senior executives of the newspaper industry, slated for March 19-22 in Dallas, Texas.


Icebreaker PR

The company said Dynamix Solutions has joined its client roster of small and medium-size businesses.

Dynamix Solutions is a managed service provider (MSP) for small and medium-size enterprises (SME), taking care of network technology for SMEs. 

Icebreaker will provide PR support on various fronts to create awareness within the small business community for Dynamix Solutions’ services.


 

National Public Relations

Paolo Pasquini said he was leaving the firm after two years as lead consultant for SAP Canada to pursue a corporate communications role at BCE (Bell Canada Enterprises). His duties at National will be assumed by Paula Morrison

Natalie Jones also said she would be leaving National to pursue an opportunity with Astral Television Networks.
