TribeHR Corp., a Waterloo, Ont-based cloud computing company was named “one to watch” by AlwaysOn for 2012.

TribeHR develops social media-based human resources management software. The tools are used by small and medium

businesses worldwide. AlwaysOn, a business media brand, annually brings out a list of OnDemand 100 Top Private Companies. This list identifies the top emerging Internet companies disrupting the established enterprise, reinventing legacy data streams and pioneering cloud computing and software-as-a-service.

Constellation Software Inc., said it has submitted a letter to the board of directors of Computer Software Innovations Inc., proposing to acquire all of the company’s outstanding common and preferred stock, and outstanding options to acquire such shares. Constellation’s recommended cash tender offer is US$1 price per share.

Constellation Software is a provider of software and services to public and private sector markets.

Quebec City-based company, Libéo announces the acquisition of Infoglobe, a firm recognized for its expertise in the world of free software.
Libéo specializes in interactive, mobile web applications based on free software.

“Infoglobe is a company with valuable and much sought-after expertise in the area of web content management systems, system infrastructures and business intelligence (BI),” said Joé Bussière, Libéo’s general manager.
