The EMC Insignia line of hardware and software products, from EMC Corp., helps small and medium-sized businesses store, manage, protect and share vital business information. The line includes EMC CLARiiON AX Series disk arrays and SMB Editions of: EMC Storage Administrator; EMC Retrospect backup and recovery software; EMC RepliStor, for replication of data between two Windows computers locally or remotely across the Internet; EMC VisualSRM, which is storage resource management software that presents a consolidated view of a company’s storage and hosts automated policies to manage it; and EMC eRoom, which brings efficiency to how employees, partners and suppliers work together.

Clamp-on helper
Magic Software Enterprisesí iBOLT Special Edition, now shipping, runs with SAP Business One 2005, the latest version of SAP’s integrated solution for small business. Business One manages and connects functions such as sales, finance, purchasing, inventory and manufacturing. With iBOLT Special Edition, business processes running on specialized systems outside of SAP Business One can be quickly integrated. These include extended workflows, composite applications, multi-channel access, interoperability and integration with other systems and platforms, as well as business activity and performance monitoring.

Cut printing pains
A palm-sized USB Multi-Function Print Server from IOGEAR allows all networked PCs in SOHO and SMB environments access to it to print, fax or scan documents. The device supports two-way communications, providing real-time updates on ink or toner levels and progress reports on sending and receiving faxes. Connecting the print server to a wireless router turns it into a wide local area network (WLAN) unit, enabling wireless communication with all computers on the network.
