There’s a new president leading the way for SAP North America.

The company announced today that DJ Paoni will oversee all day-to-day operations, strategy and profitability across the United States and Canada.

“This appointment to regional president is a testament to his proven track record of customer success and his passion for building upon our unique employee culture across the region,” said Paoni’s predecessor Jennifer Morgan, and current SAP executive board member, in a statement.

According to the company’s website, Paoni joined SAP in 1996 and climbed the leadership ladder all the way up to president of North America sales. Prior to that, he also led the Midwest market unit as a managing director and was the head of the Strategic Customer Program in North America.

Paoni says he wants to continue where Morgan left off and help companies transform and grow with the help of cloud.

“The cloud is the great equalizer, providing companies of all sizes the ability to transform and sustainably grow,” he said.

In early January, SAP Canada named Andy Canham its managing director. He replaced John Graham, who had been Canada’s managing director since January 2016. Graham moved to the U.S. for a new role within SAP. SAP Canada has more than 13,800 Canadian customers.
