If you weren’t able to get out to Vancouver last week for Grow 2012, the conference that helps businesses adapt to the digital era, not to worry – you still have a chance to view all the presentations given.
The conference featured dozens of prominent, expert-level speakers on topics ranging from e-commerce to venture capital to cloud computing. The conference has just posted 33 presentations to Slideshare, so you can become a Powerpoint junkie and spend countless hours consuming all the slide decks you missed at Grow.

From Rand Fishkin’s great SEO presentation at Grow 2012.
Of course these presentations lose a lot without the speaker. But going through the slides can still be informative as you can glean the general message of the talk and find data nuggets in the odd chart or infographic. Here’s a couple of the highlights to check out:
Dan Levin, the chief operating officer of Box charts his company’s rise from a 2006 startup to a brand name in cloud computing that works with large vendors like Dell and Salesforce.com, and is now worth $1 billion. The slidedeck includes charts showing how Box positioned itself along the way to win attention before cloud storage was cool. It’s worth clicking through just to see the clever anti-Microsoft SharePoint campaign photos alone.
Rand Fishkin, the CEO of SEOmoz created a slideshow that doesn’t need a speaker to understand. He maps out the layout of standard content pages and search results pages and shows what areas get the lion’s share of clicks. The statistics make a pretty good case for too much money being spent on paid marketing and not enough on inbound marketing.
