PrestoSoft announces the release of ExamDiff Pro 3.5 to track differences in files and folders
PrestoSoft announces the release of ExamDiff Pro 3.5, a tool that allows you to visually compare your files and directories. ExamDiff Pro lets you track differences both in text and binary files. The differences, such as additions, deletions and changes, are highlighted with different colours, and not just at the level of lines, but also at the level of words or characters. ExamDiff Pro features full Unicode support, and files can be edited in the program’s comparison panes. You can also copy, rename and delete files or directories you are comparing.

In ExamDiff Pro, diff reports can be both printed and print previewed. Another feature is word wrapping. ExamDiff Pro’s support for optionally installed plug-ins that let you preprocess files prior to comparison. Such plug-ins, for example, allow a developer to compare a local Web site to an FTP server, or a writer to compare Word, Excel and PDF documents.

ExamDiff Pro has an interface featuring extensive drag and drop support and full customization. ExamDiff Pro is integrated with Windows Explorer, and advanced users will make use of an extensive command line interface.

ExamDiff Pro runs under MS Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003/Vista and costs US$35. The company offers progressive discounts depending on the number of copies purchased. There is also a 20% educational discount on company’s products, for which only a student or an educator may qualify. Registered customers are entitled to free minor updates and unlimited technical support. Spoxel moves documents between a PC and online sever

Spoxel.com announced the release of an Enterprise version of its Web 2.0 online Intelligent Document Management System for Business. Features include the ability to move documents, photos, music and programs between their PC and an online server, using the standard WebDAV facilities of Windows Explorer. Users can drag and drop or cut and paste both folders and files into their Enterprise Server without using a browser.

Spoxel’s online servers mimic the Windows file system but add enhancements which enable shared access, file versioning, cross-document text search, online file previews and other Web 2.0 collaboration features. This enterprise server comes with a 2 GB capacity and competitive pricing. Spoxel users build up a private and secure “network” of online servers, based on the sharing permissions granted by each server’s administrator. This creates a way to deposit and retrieve documents they share online among peers, using a completely seamless interface that requires no desktop software.

Dekart launches a software product Dekart SIM Explorer. This mobile phone card processing tool is designed to view and edit the contents of a GSM SIM, 3G USIM or CDMA R-UIM card.

Dekart SIM Explorer allows you to conduct a ‘live’ analysis of the SIM card (i.e. operate with the card directly) or an ‘offline’ analysis (i.e. the data are backed up to a file and processed without having the SIM card itself).

Intorel offers Vista-compatible Web development tool

Intorel has launched ActiveSite Compiler 5.0 – the compiler platforms for professional Web developers. This version offers compatibility with Microsoft Windows Vista, .Net 2.0 and Open SSL/HTTPS and includes a host of features, including a Runtime API and enhanced database server installation support.
