Many businesses still vulnerable despite downgraded patches since Windows 7 rollout

Researchers at antivirus software company Symantec Corp. have some good news and some bad news.

In one hand, since the rollout of the Windows 7 operating system (OS) Microsoft appears to have downgraded vulnerabilities that the company recently issued patches for. This, according to Symantec experts, is an indication that security features in the new OS are working.
