Launch36 looking for fresh cohort of east coast startups this fall

The tech accelerator in Moncton, N.B. is accepting applications for itsfall cohort until Oct. 16. It’s looking for startups based on the eastcoast that are preferably B2B and focused on SaaS, mobile or enterprisesocial networking.

If you’re chosen there’s a five-month program with a goal of launchinga viable product at the end. It’s called Launch36 because theorganizers hope to successfully launch 36 companies over a three-yearperiod.

Some of the best known entrepreneurs in Atlantic Canada are involvedwith Launch36 as mentors, including Clarity.fm founder Dan Martell,Russell Smith of Radian6 and Thomas Rankin of Innovacorp.

Here’s how to apply. And no, you don’thave to live on the east coast.But according to the Launch36 Web site, “you must be willing to committo weekly in-person meetings in Moncton for a period of five months.”So if you live elsewhere, get ready to rack up some frequent flyermiles.
