On Wednesday, March 24, ITBusiness.ca editor Shane Schick will take part in a panel discussion at a Toronto chapter meeting of the International Association of Business Communicators. The panel will discuss how the relationship between the media and PR practitioners can be improved. Each panelist will have 5-10 minutes to talk about the way they prefer to deal with corporate and agency PR types, best/worst story pitches, and tips for dealing effectively with the media. This will be followed by a moderated discussion and an audience Q& A session.
The event is going to be held downtown at the Ontario Club, Commerce Court West, from 8:30a.m. to approximately 10:00 a.m. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and includes a continental breakfast. For more information, visit iabctoronto.com
