Google launches Google Notebook in Canada
Google announced Google Notebook is available in Canada. Google Notebook is a personal browser tool that allows users to collect, organize and share information from all over the Web. Text, images and links can be transferred to an online “notebook” that can be accessed from anywhere using a Google Accounts login. Users can also collaborate on notebooks and publish them for others on the Web to use.Google Notebook offers features that enhance the search experience:

Elsop announces LinkScan Unlimited v11.7

Electronic Software Publishing Corp. announced the release of LinkScan 11.7. LinkScan Unlimited a licence that permits the scanning of an unlimited number of unique Web pages (documents) on an unlimited number of physical computers that are owned or leased by the user.

At the entry level, LinkScan Workstation scans up to 500 documents and is priced at $750. LinkScan Unlimited is priced at $33,000.

Customers may upgrade from one edition of LinkScan to another at any time and receive full credit for their earlier investment in LinkScan licences.

LinkScan operates on all Microsoft Windows, Macintosh OS X and Unix Systems. Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME, and Microsoft Windows NT 4.0/2000/2003/XP/Vista are all fully supported. Compatible Unix systems include AIX, BSDI, FreeBSD, Digital Unix, HP/UX, IRIX, all major Linux distributions and SunOS/Solaris.

LinkScan Version 11.7 is a free upgrade to licences with LinkScan 10.0 or later. Free fully functional evaluation copies of LinkScan 11.7 may be downloaded from the company’s Web site at: http://www.elsop.com/
