eSight’s high-tech goggles restore sight to the vision impaired [video]

Losing one’s sight can be a terrible and debilitating experience.

Eye glasses often aren’t enough to come to the rescue of people suffering from degenerative eye diseases. Ottawa-based firm eSight Corp. has the vision to change that with its intelligent video eyewear device. It’s not quite as advanced as the visor worn by Star Trek’s Geordi La Forge, but it has been enough to change the life of patient Bill Power.
