König & Hauswirth OEG announces the release of EasyRemoteSupport, a remote-control software to operate and offers professional support via the Internet.

With EasyRemoteSupport, you can watch the Windows desktop, control the keyboard, navigate the mouse from the distance and transfer files between the two computers.

Another thing EasyRemoteSupport takes care of is security. All data transmitted via the Internet during a support session is protected by 256-bit encryption.

EasyRemoteSupport runs under Windows 98/ME/NT 4.0/2000/XP/2003/Vista and costs from US$196.50 for 10 support cases per month to US$5730.00 for 500 support cases per month. Kemma Software releases BridgeTrak Suite 7.0

Kemma Software announces the release of BridgeTrak Suite 7.0, a solution for internal or external support operations across a Microsoft Windows Server or Web platform. BridgeTrak Suite version 7.0 is re-written from the ground up using Microsoft’s .Net technology. The BridgeTrak Suite of solutions contains applications to automate support service notifications, provide a Web-portal to your central help desk for customer self-support.

The BridgeTrak interface is customizable with tracking fields for customer and issue data. Optional data can be tracked by creating custom fields to support a variety of help desk needs. Features to enhance communications include a service-driven notification feature for assignment of issues based on technical skill, scrolling headlines, a bulletin board and e-mail templates.  Standard help desk features include a query builder, flexible reports, and a knowledge base available for internal or external publishing.  

The BridgeAccess customer Web portal is available for external customers to add, view or update issues to the help desk. Other expansion modules, BridgeReceive, BridgeAutoEscalate and BridgeSearch run as services and automate e-mail notifications, generate support issues from inbound e-mails, and provide an up-to-date index for immediate database search results. 

BridgeTrak Software is available with pricing starting at US$995 for a 5-user licence, with expansion modules starting at US$395. TianHong releases FTPRush 1.0

TianHong announces the release of version 1.0 of FTPRush, a FTP client for file transfer. The program offers functionality delivered in a user-friendly interface and allows users to create their own scripts.

FTPRush is designed to fit any file transfer need. It allows files to transfer in all directions: from local to server, server to local or server to server. The client supports Normal FTP, Secure FTP (FTPS), SSH FTP (SFTP) and TFTP (Trivial File Transfer Protocol).

The built-in Script Designer and FTP Command Designer help you teach the program to execute routine work automatically. Another advantage of FTPRush is the support of folder synchronization, so it can look after the identity of folders and contained files in upload and download directory.

The program’s GUI supports drag-and-drop and resembles an Explorer-style interface. It also provides navigation for multiple connections as the tabbed interface can contain a number of pages in a single window.

FTPRush runs under all versions of Microsoft Windows and costs US$29.95 for a single-user licence. Licensed customers are entitled to the fully-functional version of the product, free technical support and free upgrades.
