DigiPortal announces ChoiceMail Enterprise Version 4.x
DigiPortal Software Inc. introduced enhancements to the company’s flagship ChoiceMail Enterprise anti-spam solution that includes solutions to detect and eliminate the e-mail scams.

ChoiceMail Enterprise Edition provides both users and IT administrators a variety of active and passive spam detection and prevention features. The release has the ability to augment the approved senders list and to identify when spammers are “faking the from address” on e-mails. ChoiceMail Enterprise users report an average time savings per employee of 15 minutes per day.

Fully compatible with any corporate e-mail server and requiring no integration, the ChoiceMail Enterprise system gives businesses the ability to stop the flow of spam from reaching their e-mail server. ChoiceMail also provides the e-mail mail server the added protection from being used as a relay mechanism. ChoiceMail Enterprise has an architecture that does not require constant updates to be effective in blocking spam.

Users can access the ChoiceMail system via any standard Web browser operating on any operating system, including Windows, Macintosh and Linux as well as wireless devices that incorporate operating systems such as Blackberry, Palm and Pocket PC. This flexibility allows them to manage and view their spam free e-mail while out of the office. ChoiceMail Small Business (CMSB) offers the same capabilities and benefits for organizations that do not already have their own e-mail server.

DigiPortal’s installment of ChoiceMail Enterprise Edition, Version 4.x contains outbound server improvements for both performance and stability, has searchable documentation in the standard CHM format and works with several SQL database systems.

Other major features in ChoiceMail Version 4.x Enterprise Edition include:

  • Improved security of Web browser access
  • Updated information in Identity Verification process
  • Improved user interface in the administrative area.
