Communications & Networking makes the circuit

This week, C&N will cover three industry trade shows at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre: Storage Networking 2005, NetworkWorld Conference & Expo and Voice on the Net (VON) Canada.

At VON on Wednesday, C&N editor Greg Meckbach is scheduled to moderate a panel discussion titled

“Mobility Disruption: 3G and Wi-Fi,” which will include speakers from Enterasys, Versatel, Sipquest and Bridgeport Networks. For more information, please see www.voncanada.com

Keep an eye out for the June issue, which will include coverage from the Networld+ Interop conference and expo in Las Vegas and a feature on network testing and troubleshooting.

The July issue includes a feature on cabling, while the August issue will publish a feature on Wi-Fi.

C&N is the technology publication sponsor for the Canadian Telecom Summit, scheduled May 30 through June 1 at the Toronto Congress Centre. Working in partnership with GST Conferences, the event this year is expanding to a three-day format, with the first day acting as a preliminary event – operating with multiple tracks, together with keynote addresses at the opening, closing and luncheon. The Summit itself will be the latter two days, following a similar format to previous years. This year’s speakers will include executives from BCE, Telus, Avaya, MCI, Sprint Canada and Allstream. For more information, see gstconferences.com.

Other upcoming industry events of note this spring include Wireless & Mobile World Expo May 18-19 and Infosecurity Canada, scheduled June 14-16 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. For more information, see www.infosecuritycanada.com.
