Canada’s deals eco-system map released

Since Groupon brought us the daily deals phenomenon in 2008, it seems like the business has grown in a thousand different directions. There are now daily deals sites just for restaurants, just for travel, there have been daily deal aggregators for different cities, and there have been forums to discuss those daily deals. Plus the prominence of discounts has expanded beyond the one-deal-a-day model to provide discounts through other approaches.

Now the Canadian Deals Association has done the herculean task of taking stock of that busy deals scene. Its release an infographic that groups together the logos of a large sub-section of companies involved in the eco-system. It also ranks the major daily deal providers by revenue, and highlights small business specific deal offers.
