AVPSoft.com announces APFill Ink Coverage Meter 4.2
AVPSoft.com has announced APFill Ink Coverage Meter 4.2. The specialty of the software lies in its ability to estimate the amount of ink or toner needed to print a document prior to actual printing.

APFill users will be able to measure the ink coverage of the highlighted screen area when, for example, they preview the page in a graphic editor before printing. It also measures the ink coverage for every single page or for the entire document in either PostScript or PDF format with CMYK separation up to eight color spots. There’s also a ‘Selected area surface measurement’ feature, allowing user to measure the area filled in with a specified color. The results of measurements can be displayed in either pixels or any user-defined units.

APFill Ink Coverage Meter 4.2 is available for US$79.95 for a single-user licence. Discounts for volume buyers are available. The product requires Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista. Infosat Communications Inc, unveiled the addition to its range of transportable auto-deploy antenna systems.

The iConnect service from Infosat offers an auto-deploy unit, with antenna sizes starting at 0.84 meters in diameter and weighing a little over 100 lbs.

The 0.84m iConnect can deliver up to four voice lines, multiple fax lines and internet or private data up to 128 kbps. Its 1.2m sibling has the capacity for up to six voice lines, multiple fax lines and internet or private data up to 256 kbps. Both terminals automatically locate the satellite at the push of a button without the need for manual alignments.

Gammadyne automates e-mail campaign

Gammadyne Corp. announced the release of a revision of Gammadyne Mailer, version 30.0.  This version includes support for IMAP4, session-level SSL, interface enhancements, an improved help file and minor bug fixes.

Gammadyne Mailer can automatically manage the mailing list by processing sign-up, opt-out, and bounce-back e-mail. The mailing list can be in a database, text file, or CSV file.
