Anam Mobile launches global SMS money transfer service
Anam Mobile announced that they have launched a service that will allow global money transfers via SMS.  Anam has partnered with TR2 Communications who are providing the cash transfer application to add to Anam’s portfolio of value-added SMS services.

To send money a user writes an sms that begins “#cash” followed by the amount to send, then selects the person they want to send it to from their address book. The money is transferred once pin-checked and once complete a text message confirmation is received. The recipient of the transfer receives a text message to tell them they have been transferred money.

Through the partnership with TR2 Communications, Anam Mobile has added the cash transfer application to its Smart Services Portfolio.

Fastlink2 introduces Web site Submitter 1.7

FastLink2 introduced Web site Submitter 1.7.

Website Submitter 1.7 is the directory submission software in the quest for increasing Web site traffic and page rank.

Website Submitter 1.7 has been updated and is designed to simplify the process of keeping up with directory submission. Users don’t have to search for the directories, and they don’t have to enter the same information about their Web sites to each directory.

With Website Submitter, users enter information about their Web sites one time. The software then takes care of submitting the Web site to 3,000 selected directories available. Minimal user input may be required for such tasks as entering captcha phrases and selecting sub-categories.

Website Submitter 1.7 is a product of German software engineering firm FastLink2.  It can be purchased for $47 with two years free updates.

YL Computing releases WinUtilities 5.2
YL Computing Inc. has announced the immediate availability of WinUtilities 5.2.

WinUtilities features a wide array of optimization tools. Version 5.2 adds the following features and enhancements.

WinUtilities offers its users the functionalities of six different tools. The program can erase junk files clogging disk drives, fix invalid entries and references in Windows Registry, and erase usage tracks, such as cookies and internet history. With its support for over 200 plug-ins, the program can wipe away usage data, related to other third-party applications.

All the operations can be started manually on demand, or scheduled to start automatically using the predefined settings in Task Scheduler. Users will also discover other optimization tools that will let them trace and erase duplicate files eating up valuable disk space, scan the system to find invalid shortcuts, optimize the memory management of Windows. WinUtilities will remove BHO, manage program execution at Windows startup, schedule a computer to shut down at a specified time even when it’s left unattended, back up Windows Registry for security purposes and search Registry by specific wildcards.

WinUtilities 5.2 is available immediately from YL Computing’s site. The product runs under Windows Vista/ XP/ 2003 / 2000/ 98 and costs US$39.99 for a single-user licence.
