HP refreshes its printer options for SMBs and enterprises

Already a leader within the printing industry, HP unveiled new single-function, multifunction, scanners and printing solutions Oct. 1.

With an emphasis on simple, secure and mobile printing opportunities, HP widens the opportunities for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and mid-large sized enterprises with its expanded fleet of products.

“Organizations need to adapt quickly to the changing landscape of information technology, which includes dealing with the vast amounts of data and processes created by a growing mobile workforce,” said Pradeep Jotwani, senior vice president, LaserJet and Enterprise Solutions, HP, in a press statement.

New printers include:

HP Scanjet Enterprise Flow 5000 s2

Helps streamline organizations and workflows by enabling users to convert paper documents into editable digital files. Files can be sent to cloud- or network-based storage or to HP’s Flow CRM. HP’s EveryPage ensures that each page is scanned, included dual –sided pages, and blank pages are deleted.

HP LaserJet Pro M125/M127 series

This physically small, monochrome MFP series offers a 3-inch touchscreen panel, to help users navigate their printing, scanning, copying and fax jobs.

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M176.M177 series *SMB focus*

Ideal for SMBs, this colour series can act as a hub for digitization and printing of files, offering printing, scanning, copying and faxing capabilities.

HP Embedded Capture

This is a brand new content capture solution, enabling users to create and tailor their personal workflows, improve productivity and streamline processes using a serverless environment.

HP Access Control 13.0
HP’s security solution is updated, enabling an organization to manage their fleet of devices, including the newly-supported HP OfficeJet Pro X series. Services include pull printing and authentication services.

HP LaserJet Enterprise M800 series (MFP M880 and MFP M830):

This series is the industry’s first enterprise print and MFP series offering both touch-to-print and wireless direct functionalities. Simply put, using a NFC-enabled or wifi device (such as a smartphone or tablet) users can send files to the printer by simply touching their device to the printer, or by being within the wifi range.

New to Canada, but not new to HP, is its Flow document management technology, which helps users streamline digital and analogue processes.
