iQMetrix using touchscreens to get customers to explore products

Last week, we had a chance to tour the Retail Collective, a set of startups and technologies for retailers looking to lure consumers back to physical stores, instead of losing sales to e-commerce and online shopping. The Retail Collective was housed at Dx3, a marketing conference in Toronto.

Candice So of ITBusiness.ca spoke to Tara Bartlett, marketing manager of iQmetrix. She explained how installing touchscreens in physical stores can give consumers more information on a product – potentially resulting in upselling, meaning more sales for retailers’ bottom line.
