OCAD University President Sara Diamond: big data stories must be told with multi-sensory approach

As a part of the Centre for Information Visualization and Data-Driven Design (CIVDDD), Dr. Sara Diamond is helping to bring together strong science capacity with creative story telling. She believes representing data sets in a visual and sensory way will be an important way we understand our world in the 21st century. For example, OCAD University is helping CBC Newsworld make its own ‘holodeck’ to explore its archive.
