WiredCity IT Monitor includes VoIP diagnostics

OSISoft Inc.’s WiredCity division has added voice over IP performance monitoring to its IT Monitor software, which monitors local-area networks, wide-area networks, equipment and applications.

The product is designed to identify points of failure or bottlenecks in performance. It has a database of more than 100 analytic functions, including quality of service, delay, jitter, packet loss and relative levels of voice and data traffic.

It has more than 400 interfaces, including SNMP traps, which monitor status, fault and performance of servers, devices, applications and databases. Other interfaces include: Windows Performance Monitor; Cisco NetFlow and PacketCapture, Syslog and TCP/Response/Ping.

It can monitor voice gateways, IP telephony applications and programs that support VoIP, such as Active Directory, unified messaging and Exchange voicemail.
