Mercedes’ safety tech ready for the autobahn

IT systems in cars aren’t just for staying productive and entertained while on the road. Technology can also help make a car safer, as Mecedes demonstrates with its driving simulator showing off the safety features of a B-class car.

This Mercedes car will warn you when a car’s in your blind spot, hit the brakes for you when you’re in danger of a head-on collision, and jolt the steering wheel to wake you up when you drift off to the side of the road. Watch as we put the systems to the test in Mercedes’ driving simulator:
