Last chance for CEA nominations

Computer Dealer News will again sponsor the Channel Elite Awards (CEA). Honours will be presented to seven deserving professionals on June 24th, at the posh Kingsbridge Centre in King City, Ont.

CEA recognizes individual excellence in seven categories: Sales, Consulting or Services, Customer

Service, Project Manager, Marketing, and Support Technician. The CEA judges will also award an individual, team or company who has created the best solution as Solution Champion.

Channel professionals, vendors and distributors have until May 21st to nominate anyone they believe deserves recognition for a job well done. An independent panel of judges will review the nominees and select the winners in each category.

Who is eligible to win? Employees or owners of IT channel organizations operating in Canada, including resellers, integrators, consultants and service companies. While vendors, customers and distributors can’t be nominated for the CEA, they are welcome to nominate individuals.

Tech Data Canada along with Hewlett-Packard Canada, Symantec Canada, NEC/Mitsubishi and Maxtor are confirmed sponsors for this event. Sponsorship opportunities are still available, but on a limited basis.

Value added content

As a bonus for attending the June 24 event, CDN has engaged Technology Channels Group Inc. to present a two-hour educational program. The session’s theme is Moving From Rhetoric to More Revenue. The speaker will be Mike Dubrall, the Channel Doctor himself. Dubrall has been consulting with high tech vendors on channel programs for more than a decade. His 10 Habits of Successful Vendor Partners seminar has been one of the most highly attended in the industry.
