Cimmetry introduces AutoVue v 19.1 to provide Web-based document security

Cimmetry Systems, an Agile Software company, announced the release of AutoVue v 19.1 for SAP’s PLM platform, Enterprise Central Component (ECC) 5.0.

AutoVue’s SAP certified solution integrates with mySAP PLM, providing users with a point of access to hundreds of document types stored in the mySAP repository for viewing, printing, markup and real-time collaboration. AutoVue’s unique Web-based streaming technology provides document security by ensuring that documents are never transferred to the client machines for viewing or annotation.

AutoVue for SAP PLM works directly with the mySAP PLM CAD integrations to provide visualization for any supported native CAD format, including CATIA, Pro/E, NX, SolidWorks, Inventor and AutoCAD, as well as EDA, Office and PDF documents.  Users can create markups or annotations on all supported document types, including PDF documents, which are saved back in the SAP repository. Users do not require Acrobat Pro to be able to view and annotate PDF documents with AutoVue.

With hundreds of native document formats supported, AutoVue provides virtually instant and secured access to crucial information, without undergoing costly and error-prone conversions.
